New hire, transfer and exit surveys have been developed by the Human Resource Survey Tool (HRST) Committee for Saskatchewan health care employees. The initial new hire and transfer surveys will target specific hard-to-recruit groups including: Registered Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses. The exit survey will be provided to all resigning or retiring employees.

It is the intent that the implementation of these surveys will provide health care employers with the basis for a common survey process. Information obtained from these surveys will provide employers with information that will assist with enhancing retention and recruitment methods and overall employee satisfaction.

The HRST Committee has designed the surveys for Saskatchewan health care employers and Cronus Technologies Inc. (CTI) has been chosen to build them within SAHO’s province-wide personnel management system.
