About the surveys


The focus of the surveys is on the views of health care employees and the use of their input in addressing retention and recruitment issues and improving their work environment.
  • New hire surveys will provide better insight into what attracts health care workers to our regions and our province.
  • Transfer surveys will give a better understanding of what draws employees from one position, department or facility to another and the requirements necessary to retain health care employees in certain positions or departments.
  • Exit surveys for all resigning and retiring employees will assist in recognizing areas requiring improvement to enhance our ability to retain employees in health care positions.

Initial new hire and transfer surveys will focus on identified hard-to-recruit positions with additional health care professionals considered at a later date.
